BCEA Endowment Funds

In 1995, The Scholarship Committee helped establish the B.C. Electrical Association Endowment Fund at B.C.I.T. BCEA then offers $1,000 bursaries each year.

(New) In June 2007, The Scholarship Committee helped establish the BCEA Okanagan College Endowment Fund.  Press Release.

(New) In October 2007, the Scholarship Committee helped establish the BCEA Camosun College Endowment Fund.  Press Release.

The criteria for the bursary applicants is as follows;

• students must be entering one of these courses; Electrical Control Service Technician, Electricity and Industrial Electronics, Industrial Instrumentation Service Technician, and Electronics Technician Common Core
  
  

• financial need and scholastic ability
  
  

• essay outlining school and community service and plans for the future (500 - 1,000 words)
