Our Annual General Meeting has been postponed to Thursday, August 18 at 11:30 a.m. by Zoom. As a not for profit, it is necessary to hold our member AGM. We must have a quorum to proceed with the meeting. The meeting will only be 30 minutes, being held virtually. We encourage you or someone from your company to attend. If you are unable to attend, please fill out the proxy form and assign someone to vote on your company's behalf.

The Women’s Network is participating in the 2nd Annual Charity Summer Games is around the corner and its taking place on August 9th at the Telosky Stadium. Join us and cheer on your team as we compete against other non-for-profits. The goal is to help raise money for each of our initiatives through a fun afternoon or games and comradery. All are welcome. Bring the kids as there will be activities for them to participate in.
Any individuals or companies that would like to donate are welcome to do so either by filling out this form or by donating online! Money raised will go toward the Annual Thrive Summit in September as well as other educational initiatives.
We are very excited to announce the Betty Lou Education Relief Award. This award is to honour the memory of long-standing Board member, Betty Lou Pacey. She was an icon in the electrical industry and an integral part of the BC Electrical Association's growth and sustainability for decades. She was known as a businesswomen, advocate, philanthropist, champion and mentor to many.
Submission deadline is November 15, 2022. Eligibility and application available online.
2020 BCEA Scholarship Bursary Application is now available to download. Deadline to submit your application is June 30, 2020.
The BC Electrical Association in conjunction with the Victoria distributors and manufacturers committee on the Island, will be holding a golf and tradeshow event on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
This will be a tabletop trade show. Morning hours will feature a breakfast and Caesar bar and food stations will be available for the evening hours of the show.

I would like to sincerely thank all our members across British Columbia for all their support in 2020. It has been a different year for many. Difficult and challenging, but I am happy to see so many of you doing well even during these unusual times. Several of our members, including the BCEA, have had to reimagine a new way of doing business. Through this, we have managed to grow and serve our members and the community even in this virtual space. We have a lot to look forward to in 2021 and cannot wait to get started.

To celebrate and recognize young leaders who distinguished themselves early in their career through professional achievement which can also include volunteer service, someone who is the unsung hero always there to lend a helping hand, and/or someone that deserves recognition for their contributions to the industry or within your corporate culture.
Each month an individual will be selected and highlighted on all BCEA social media platforms. All those recognized monthly, will qualify for the BCEA High Achiever Award that will be awarded at the BCEA Annual Awards Luncheon in December 4, 2020.
