Call for Speakers - LINK Conference 2019

BC Electrical Association is currently seeking presenters for Emerging Technologies and Trends topics for the 2019 Annual LINK Conference to be held in Richmond BC

Where: Pacific Gateway Hotel, Richmond BC
When: Wednesday, November 13 and Thursday, November 14, 2019

This annual conference consists of two full days of opportunities for professional development, education, networking, and customer planning meetings with the leaders in B.C.’s electrical industry.

If you are a dynamic speaker, have innovative research, a story to tell of applied work, new technology or trends that is currently disrupting or going to lead to disruption in the economy supported by the electrical industry we want to hear you. You can submit here <insert link> to apply to be part of the BCEA 2019 Annual LINK Conference speaker line up.

The 2018 LINK Conference sessions included the following: economy, legalization of cannabis, smart cities, digitalization research report, better communication by adapting personality styles, how robotics will change our lives in the near future, and a TED talk keynote speaker Robin Esrok.

Details for 2019 LINK:

An anticipated 140 delegates will be in attendance at this year’s conference. Presentations are 45 minutes in length. All presentations must include time for questions and answers. Individuals interested in presenting sessions should submit their completed the submission form by Friday, March 22, 2019 for full consideration.

Proposal requirements are available on the association’s website. Presentations for the purpose of promoting or selling specific products, services, or providers will not be considered. Presentations should be tailored to members and educational. For additional information, please email

In conjunction with the Victoria distributors and manufacturers committee, the BCEA will be holding a golf and trade show in Victoria on Thursday, May 2nd!
