Opening Seminar Speaker - Joel Feenstra
Joel Feenstra is a CSA Electrical Code subcommittee member, electrician, and electrical educator. He holds his master electrician license in both BC (FSR-A) and Alberta, as well as several certifications in education. He is an electrical apprenticeship instructor at the University of the Fraser Valley, where he also teaches courses on PLCs, and electrical code. Joel is highly involved with the Canadian Standards Association, contributing to the electrical code book, as well as to the electrical handbooks, learning materials, and online courses. Provincially, he has written and illustrated numerous modules for the apprenticeship training system. His specialty is combining education with the practicalities of electrical fieldwork applied code in a clear and straightforward manner.
